The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of Harokopio University of Athens is an operational independent administrative structure, supervised by the Rector or the relevant Vice-Rector, to whom the relevant authority has been assigned. The mission of Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) is the continuous improvement of the quality of the educational and research work of the Foundation, as well as the effective operation and performance of its services.<\/span>
\nQuality Assurance Unit (QAU) structured internally by the Quality Assurance Committee and the<\/span> Quality Assurance Department.<\/a>
\nThe Quality Assurance Committee of Harokopio University of Athens is the central coordinating body for all quality assurance and evaluation procedures of the Institution<\/span> (\u03a6\u0395\u039a \u0392\u0384 1436\/24.03.2022<\/a>), it is established by the decision of the Senate and it consists of:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) the Rector or one of the Vice Rectors, as President,<\/span><\/p>\n

b) five (5) Professors<\/span><\/p>\n

c) a representative of each category of the University\u2019s personnel (articles 28 and 29 of Law 4009\/2011, as they were amended and being in effect) with the right to vote, when issues of the corresponding category of personnel are discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

d) a representative of the undergraduate students and a representative of the postgraduate students and doctoral candidates, if any, as members.<\/span>
\n\u03a4he members of Quality Assurance Committee are appointed for four years, while that of the representatives of undergraduate students and postgraduate students is annual.<\/span><\/p>\n

The composition of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Harokopio University of Athens based on the decision<\/span> Senate decision no. 487\/18.09.2024 (prot. no. 116460\/20.09.2024<\/a> and was reconstituted by<\/span> Senate Meeting No. 488\/23.10.2024 prot No. 117799\/13.11.2024<\/a> of the Senate is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n
