Harokopio University continues to prioritize quality assurance in its strategic planning, investing significantly and systematically in the continuous development of a quality culture across all its operations and in all areas of education, research, and innovation.
Quality Policy
Harokopio University has established and implements a quality policy reflected in the “Strategic Plan 2024–2028” approved by the competent bodies, as the achievement of goals is evaluated against quality indicators and benchmarks defined by the competent Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE).

Within this framework, the quality policy at Harokopio University aims to:

certify all Study Programmes and continuously improve them, emphasizing student needs and developments in the scientific fields they address;

provide high-level distance education by utilizing modern digital infrastructure, implementing strict integrity mechanisms, and applying evaluation procedures;

enhance research activity through synergies with other educational institutions, organizations, and public and private sector entities in Greece and abroad;

ensure the sustainable operation of the University and upgrade the working environment and infrastructure to strengthen academic and administrative work;

The University’s quality accreditations are reflected in the implementation of the processes and procedures of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS / ESDP). This system is drafted, applied, and revised periodically to adapt and align with the quality criteria and regulatory framework defined by the European Higher Education Area, as well as the principles and guidelines of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE / ETHAAE). The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS / ESDP) of Harokopio University has received full compliance certification from the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education.
The Institution’s quality policy is evaluated through the processes of the Internal Quality Assurance System. Within the framework of the Internal Quality Assurance System evaluation, the academic community participates critically and substantially, management commits to continuous quality improvement, and evaluation results are publicly disclosed through all appropriate means to stakeholders and interested parties.
