The Operation “Quality Assurance Unit (Q.U.A.) Harokopio University” with MIS Code 5093203, is included in the Operational Program “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020” and under Priority Axis “Improvement of quality and effectiveness of the educational system”.
The Operation concerns the upgrading of the quality of HEIs for their more effective and efficient operation and the consolidation of the corresponding quality culture with the support of the Quality Assurance Units (Q.U.A.) through the redesign and reorganization of internal quality assurance procedures.
Six (6) Actions will be implemented, which will include:
1. Training of teams of human resources of Harokopio University on quality assurance issues and the ways of its application. EVALUATION REPORT OF TRAINING SEMINARS OF THE QUA PROJECT
2. Development and interoperability of information systems of the University and their interconnection with INQIS.
3. Creation of new internal institutions, procedures and workflow within the framework of quality management (quality procedures SOP’S),
4. Staffing of Q.U.A. for administrative, managerial and technical support
5. Design, monitoring, evaluation of the project.
6. Automated collection of quality data of the Institution.
The specific objectives/expected results include:
- Training, acquisition of knowledge and skills of teams of human resources of the University on quality assurance issues and the ways of its application, so that modern quality management is applied with appropriate data-driven decision-making aimed at fulfilling strategic goals. Evaluation Report
- Development and interoperability of the information systems of the University and their interconnection with the Integrated National Quality Information System (INQIS) of HAHE, for the extraction of evaluation data. The ultimate goal is the support of the internal operation of the Institution by appropriately interconnected information systems, so that it is possible to capture an overall and detailed picture of its activities as well as the utilization of its data in decision-making, thus ensuring the upgrading of quality and the improvement of its international image.
- Transformation of internal operations, through the elimination of inefficient procedures and the establishment of new ones compatible with quality management. The written standardization of operating procedures, with specific specifications, will help employees perform their tasks efficiently and with uniformity in performance, ensuring the quality of services provided and compliance with the strategic goals of the Institution.
- Staffing of Q.U.A. with external partners with scientific and professional qualifications who will offer know-how transfer services from the labor market, to support the project administratively, managerially and technically.
- Ensuring the effective implementation of the project.
- Ensuring the submission to HAHE of valid, correct and updated quality data.
