Harokopio University participated this year in the international Round University Ranking (RUR) system, which evaluates more than 1,200 universities from around the world. The RUR system aims to assess the overall performance of Higher Education Institutions based on four key areas: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, and Financial Sustainability.
Harokopio University’s participation in this international ranking strengthens its global presence and visibility and represents another step toward highlighting the quality of its academic and research work.
Harokopio University achieved a noteworthy international position in the recent Round University Ranking (RUR), ranking 873rd worldwide. Specifically, by subject area, the University ranked:
- 616th in Medical Sciences
- 684th in Social Sciences
These rankings reflect the University’s growing academic influence and the quality of its scientific output.
At the national level, Harokopio University is ranked among the top universities in Greece, achieving:
- 6th place among all Greek universities overall,
- 5th place in Medical Sciences, and
- 2nd place in Social Sciences.
This distinction is a recognition of the University’s strategic commitment to excellence, research and academic quality, and its active contribution to the global scientific community.
