As part of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education responsibilities and in accordance with its institutional framework, the Authority, in 2015 developed the Quality Data Management System , which is structured in 5 subsystems: a) Data of Quality of Higher Education, b) Business Intelligence, c) Register of Experts, d) Accreditation Management, e) Internal Operation.
The process of collecting the quality data by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education takes place every year within predetermined time intervals. The data entered in the system, each time pertain to the previous year, academic or calendar, depending on the thematic category to which each element belongs, they are quantitative and are grouped in the following academic entities/units:
- Institution
- Faculty
- Department
- Undergraduate Program
- Postgraduate PROGRAMME
- Doctoral Studies Program
For each academic entity the data are indicatively grouped into thematic categories or sub-categories as follows:
- Deaprtment Identity
- Students and graduates
- Human resources
- Structure and organization of studies
- Infrastructure and services
- Research activity
- Financial data
- Internal Quality Assurance System
Quality data is the basis of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education Business Intelligence System. The processing of primary quantitative data allows the production of reports of any type with aggregated data and qualitative indicators which facilitate the processes of analysis and presentation of data with a view to quality assurance. The reports are available to the Universities, expert committees and the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.
