Welcome to the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) website of Harokopio University of Athens, which is the central coordinating body for all quality assurance and evaluation procedures of the Institution.
QAU is supported by an independent administrative structure which is structured at the level of an independent Department titled “Quality Assurance Department” which reports directly to the Rector or one of the Vice-Rectors following a relevant transfer of competence. The responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Department consist of the secretarial and administrative support to the QAU of Harokopio University of Athens, to ensure the execution of its decisions as well as to support the implementation of all procedures related to the issues of quality assurance and operation of QAU within the framework of its more specific competences. The website of QAU aims to provide and disseminate any relevant information that contributes to ensuring the quality of education and research at Harokopio University of Athens. Publishes the Internal Evaluation Reports of the Academic Departments and the University, the External Evaluation Reports, the Manual for the operation of the University’s Internal Quality Assurance System, as well as all informational material on the policy and quality assurance procedures within the University. It is an ever-growing hub of information about the University’s ongoing work and performance and thus aspires to contribute to its extroversion and further connection with society and the international environment.
