Lecture: “Innovative Teaching”

The Quality Assurance Unit of Harokopio University of Athens, in collaboration with the Department of Dietetics and Nutritional Science, cordially invites you to a lecture by Prof. Niyati Parekh, Associate Vice Provost of Faculty Initiatives at New York University, on the topic:

“Innovative Teaching”

Professor Niyati Parekh, whose field of expertise is “Public Health Nutrition” at the School of Global Public Health, New York University (NYU), also serves as the Associate Vice Provost of Faculty Initiatives within the Office of the Provost. In this role, she is responsible for supporting faculty development through the Early Career Faculty Institute at NYU.

The lecture focuses on enhancing teaching skills and employing strategies that go beyond traditional instructional methods. It will be held in person, in English, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the Ceremony Hall (Aula) of the University, followed by a discussion.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Maria Yannakoulia, Professor of the Department of Dietetics and Nutritional Science (School of Health Science and Education), for her initiative in inviting Professor Niyati Parekh. We hope this lecture provides the inspiration to expand teaching practices as part of our University’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of education.
