Harokopio University has secured a remarkable position among the world’s Young Universities, ranking 130th in the international “Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024”!
This distinction places Harokopio University in the top spot among Greek Young Universities, while also ensuring a strong international presence, showcasing its undeniable academic excellence and dynamic potential!
The “Times Higher Education Young University Rankings” evaluates young institutions that are up to fifty (50) years old, considering key pillars and reflecting the quality of their work in areas such as teaching, research, and international outlook. This year, 673 universities participated in the rankings, an increase compared to 2023 (605 universities).
Harokopio University’s outstanding performance is the result of the dedicated work and methodical efforts of all members of its academic community. This achievement confirms its upward trajectory and commitment to providing high-quality education and research. The institution is on a constantly rising path, securing increasingly higher positions in international rankings, making it one of the most noteworthy and recognized young universities worldwide.
The ranking of the eight Greek Young Universities is as follows:
• 130th position: Harokopio University
• 201-250th position: University of the Aegean
• 401-500th position: Technical University of Crete, University of Western Macedonia
• 501-600th position: Hellenic Open University, International Hellenic University,
University of the Peloponnese, University of West Attica
